Hey, Recently i have downloaded cyberlink youcam from google And when i downloaded it it put a BUNCH of unneeded files. Some of them viruses. A virus named Winzip driver updater and Finnalyfast came up. I went into my task manager and clicked "end task" and When i did it it said "error: It's already open" And would'nt let me delete the virus files!. So the next day i went on and this time the virus started up again. My first instinct was to click the X in the top of the screen to exit out of the finnalyfast/winzip virus. (winzip driver updater STARTED up finnalyfast which is also a virus) But i didn't click the X to close out. I instead clicked on the virus option "hide on startup" which i stupidly did. BUT I restarted my Pc again it didn't come up (because i hid it) BUT finnalyfast still came up. So i opened my task manager and clicked "end task" It let me this time. So i quickly went to the virus'es files and quickly deleted them before it had time to start up again. SUCCESS. I tried to search the virus files in my query. They didn't come up. So i went into my virus protection (Bitdefender) and it said "your system is protected" But whenever I'm on my Pc for a long period of time (1 hour or so) It starts to get SUPER slow. So when it does this i go into my anti-virus. "your system is protected" I'm wondering if it's still there because i clicked "hide on startup" (i don't think it is because the files aren't There when i check on startup.) But since then whenever im on my pc for a long period of time it gets REALLY slow but my anti virus says nothing is wrong. Is it just my internet or is something more sinister hiding in my pc? @halothe23 @johncoles @Drew McNamee

People with winzip driver updater seem to have problems. But it's not actually finallyfast isn't really . that safe... from what I've seen. I can't give you a solution, but I can give you that which you've probably already established (google the things see if you can find anything)

I suggest you rollback your pc data by a few days if you can. If there is any positive change in performance, then it should be gone. If not, then something else is probably causing the issue.

Why do you need to know? ;)
This happened to me a couple of week ago, I got a pop up saying "Your java Is out dated, Click download to install the latest version." I obviously clicked It and It installed so much un-needed resources onto my Pc. I had to download 4 sites to clear all the stuff I had on my Pc (I had about 3 viruses). I wouldn't mind giving you the websites that cleared almost every bad file on my Pc. I also advise you to potentially buy McAfee, It had regular updates to check If you have any viruses but has worked well for me over the past 3 years. Hope this also helped. ;)

I use Norton. That isn't the best, but oh well. I am stuck on firefox because of norton... =/ lol
I absolutely hate norton; it blocks almost every website that i try to access in case there might be a threat. Then it keeps popping up every 6-12 hours telling me that i haven't paid me subscription and that i need to redeem it, and it just won't go away >.>

buy McAfee
I used to use that back on the family laptop when i was like 10, and the laptop was damaged beyond repair within 3 weeks. With McAfee, you're paying for knowledge that you could just google.
I'm aware of the benefits of having virus-protection, but i just don't use it. I only visit 3 websites anyways, and neither of them are harmful, so i honestly see the point since most viruses i can remove anyways.

I've been through a few of these posts and I'll always say this to people, if you ever need a faster computer, don't search for programs to do them, they are normally viruses and even if they are legit they can still damage your computer, don't overclock either unless you really want those extra frames. Best thing to do is upgrade your pc.

Finallyfast, is definitely not a virus, it would be classed as malware because of all of the things that it does with ads and hyperlinks on your pages.
When you installed this free program, I hope that you were aware that this program actually costs a lot of money and that it would be infested with evil stuff trying to overtake your computer. I digress.
When installing stuff like this it would normally have on certain setup pages, be saying, install "blah blah" for free with this program, it does this because 9/10 people don't actually read what setups say, this resulting in them not knowing where the malware came from and spending days trying to get rid of it.

If you use Chrome try this.
  1. CTRL + H on any page and it should open a new tab called "history"
  2. After this go to the left of this page and see the list of other tabs, click "extensions", if it is on your browser then it should be in here.
  3. Any that you don't recognize should be removed immediately you can do this by clicking the bin icon next to the extension.
The Winzip Driver Updater that you mentioned is actually a program from the creators of winzip themselfs, any program that ever mentions drivers or updating etc, should be avoided, drivers are precious.

If you still haven't found a way to get rid of these is to actually uninstall the cyberlink youcam. find out the names of the malware that is inside your computer and delete it.
