It happened with Buy 'n Build, and it's happing with Disasters.

In case you don't know what I'm talking about, both of these games have received an update that half-ruins the game.

Buy 'n Build v0.2: Added infinite coins, shop time and less build time, literally ruining the game

Disasters v0.3: Added eternal, non-hurting PVP (actually a good addition), but limited the game to 2 disasters and made games really, really short

With Buy 'n Build, the game was removed due to the update not being well-received by the community. I am afraid this will happen with Disasters. The worst part about this is it is entirely Cubecraft's fault, and we shouldn't have to deal with our favourite games being butchered into less-original games.

Cubecraft, please stop. Revert back to the old format of Disasters before it's too late.

I honestly could not agree more with you, the disaster game mode turned into a literal disaster. and the buy and build was already feeling too rushed, i cant remember when i actually completed a build, i see the vision with what your saying, and i understand, and honestly i agree. cubecraft does need to stop with these ''improvements''

no hate obviously but they need to listen to the community sometimes.

I very much agree, I don’t like the trend of new games dying in a month, especially because I liked buy n build even after it got quote-on-quote “ruined”, and it became the 1st game I mained for fun since pillars came out over a year ago. I feel buy n build had real potential but the infinite coins and mall time ruined it. I also think shortening the game of disasters by 5 times is a bad path foward, because the games are so fast pace, as you just need to survive two disasters to win instead of 10, and imo the game is much more competitive with a lot more disasters, and I really hope disasters doesn’t suffer the same fate as buy n build

Hello! As most of you know, these games are considered on beta mode. Wich means, it's up to changes and reverts at anytime. We'll be closely looking and watching out for the community feedbacks in the meantime, Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas!

I can't speak for Buy N Build since we never got it on java, but I disagree with your take on Disasters.

Disasters was never an original game, and it was disliked by the java community from day 1. Only a handful of tryhard started grinding it and the casuals weren't showing up either, resulting in a consistent drop in players.
While I can't say I'm particularly excited about this update, it does feel fresh and gives the gamemode some long lost hope for staying on java, we'll see where it goes from here.

This is mainly a Bedrock discussion, we like it over here, Bedrock and Java players are very different in some ways

Couldn't agree with you more... I loved both OG disasters and Buynbuild. I really miss BuynBuild too, before the update, friends and I would play that casually every time we were tired of playing the more PvP oriented games.. oh man really hope disasters doesn't fall into the same crap

I do also feel that Disasters has been butchered by making the games only 2 mins long and having only 2 disasters. Beforehand, it was really fun and chaotic but now with the update, the game is just really boring and ruined. Please revert this update, thanks :)

I couldn’t agree more, buy and build has been RUINED it is just a real big shame, cubecraft can you please change this!
