This is NOT a joke, take me seriously here. I have a big report due tomorrow and im not doing it, on my own will of course. I need some excuses to get my way out of this. 8th grade, English, experienced teacher

In all seriousness, I recommend that you actually do the work. While you may not think 8th grade matters right now, doing the work will help you develop good habits that you'll need later on in your life.
It's not like I'm procrastinating now, or anything... ;-;

Just do it. I'm not trying to be rude, but you won't be able to go through life using excuses just because you don't want to do something.
Just say that your dog ate it; that works, right?

- Your cat died.
- Your computer was broken.
- You did it but left it at home.
- Your printer broke/jammed.
- Your parent/guardian accidently threw it away.
- You were in the middle of typing it but your power went out before you saved it.
- The file got mysteriously corrupted.
Highest suggestion: Tell the truth and own up. Say "I didn't do it because sweg" then moonwalk out the door. I guarantee the ladies will be lining up at your window.
*Important note: You're still in middle school. If you're having an off-day and that's why you didn't do the assignment, then don't stress too much over it. It's one grade out of many to come.

Athough I don't like lying, a excuse would be you accidently burned it when you spilled water on it..

Water+yellow food die=very convincing dog/cat pee. Take it to school in a zip-lock bag, be like MAH DOG PEED ON IT I CAN HAZ NEW COPY? and hope they're not weird/crazy enough to sniff it to be sure it's real pee. If this happens, ammonia or vinegar make somewhat convincing odors. You didn't hear this from me. I was never here.
(This only works if you have a baby brother)

You know what i think? Excuses are pointless. Not to be rude, but for one, they don't help you in any circumstance. They may help you for that ONE moment, but will hurt you in the long run. School was meant for a reason: 1. To helps us improve and get through life without a struggle. Almost all of the importance's of school fall under that category. Helping us to prepare for the mere future. I know there are many highschoolers on CCG, including myself, and i advise you guys and girls that Procrastinating WILL NOT help you pass through life, but will do the complete opposite. "Oh, you're only 14. You don't know anything." And i know some of you reading are probably saying that. But don't say didn't warn you. :p

Well, im an expert at dis stuff... I havent done my homework all year so im da boss, the one i use most is: uh i didnt understand this part (and someone ddosed me or my wifi stopped working) so i couldnt search it up.
It was also made to teach children how to spell "torture." ;)
Simple, just say that your dad's car was broken into and they stole your bag. It worked for me, except it actually happened so... yeah

My mom lets me stay up on weekends so I tell my dad I don't have any homework after school (if I say I do I only have half an hour break before having to start) and just do it as soon as he leaves for work.
