Quartz Blocks

Shouldn't you be able to craft quartz blocks into quartz because I have found out that on the savannah island there are quartz blocks on the edge so I decided to mine them and after found out I could not craft them into quartz. Now I am just questioning why so if you have any idea on why the server does not allow this to happen you could tell me why but for now, the only reason I can think of is they probably don't want us crafting it into quartz and selling it for a lot of money but I think we should be able to either sell the block or craft it. Leave your ideas.

Well if you cant do it in vanilla, why cant we sell them in the skyblock shop. Which is what I suggested in my post.

I'm not really sure you can do it in vanilla, but in case you can, the server maybe removed that craft to prevent players from crafting a lot of quartz easily, what would ruin the server economy.

Nevermind, I have searched it and quartz blocks can't be converted into quartz.

This brings me to my other suggestion, selling quartz blocks. Well, I am going to go so have a good day.

I think the idea behind that is quartz blocks are meant to be decorational, and not something you can sell, since quartz ore is already sellable
