Java Do Axes do Vanilla Damage?

Do axes do the same amount of damage as they do in 1.16 vanilla? When playing I feel like the axe doesn't seem as powerful as it usually is.

I don't think there is any difference since you can login with 1.16 vanilla on Cubecraft. So Cubecaft will also register same damage. Of course the axe doesn't do much damage if you don't use critts, so be sure to use critical hits to kill players. :)

No they don't, axes on cube were nerfed back when 1.9 came out due to it being way too OP. Especially in eggwars half health with sharp 2.

I think so in every game except SkyWars.
But cube has higher armor protection as well.

In my experience, it’s easier to kill people with an axe because of my decent aim and tracking skills.

Only in SkyWars I think. Idk why they’d nerf axes in any gamemode. They aren’t OP. I suggest in EggWars normal items mode you do axe but not in overpowered items mode because swords are better if they have the same enchants as axes.

Yes, I am, and it sucks that axes are nerfed in Skywars, my favorite game.
