Au cours de la semaine dernière, vous avez peut-être remarqué que notre réseau a été mis à rude épreuve en raison de la sortie de PlayStation 4. Nous avons pensé vous donner un aperçu de la manière dont nous faisons face à cette demande jusqu'à présent.

Au cours des 4 derniers jours, nous avons vu notre nombre mondial de joueurs monter en flèche à plus de 45 000 joueurs, ce qui a complètement détruit tous nos records précédents. Nous avons vu notre nombre de joueurs sur Bedrock presque tripler et devenir le deuxième serveur en vedette à atteindre 40000 joueurs sur une seule plate-forme. En tant que tel, nous avons immédiatement pris des mesures pour être en mesure de faire face à cette charge.
  1. Nous avons commandé des dizaines de nouveaux serveurs, ajoutant jusqu'à 2,24 To de RAM et
  2. Nous avons vu notre bande passante sur le réseau augmenter massivement, atteignant plus de 8 gigabits par seconde.
Ces nouveaux serveurs ont la capacité de contenir plus de 9 000 joueurs. Certains d'entre vous se souviennent peut-être qu'au cours de l'été, nous avons dû également augmenter notre capacité . Depuis la sortie, nous avons vu des chiffres plus élevés que ce que nous avons atteint lors du verrouillage, et nous avons augmenté plus rapidement que jamais.

Au cours des derniers mois, nous avons commencé à utiliser le cloud pour faire évoluer notre serveur, qui a été fortement utilisé ces derniers jours. Sur le cloud uniquement, nous avons ajouté 4 To de RAM et plus de 1000 vCores. Nos développeurs ont également travaillé dur pour optimiser diverses parties de notre infrastructure de base afin de nous assurer que nous pouvons faire face à la demande.

Nous savons que notre réseau a été plus lent que d'habitude - nous travaillons dur pour ajouter plus de frontaux et de serveurs pour équilibrer la charge, et augmenter considérablement la capacité de notre réseau avec le nombre d'optimisations que nous faisons.

the only problem I have on CC is the lag in EggWars: it's apparently only on Nintendo Switch and a whole game is unplayable, at first, it's fine but around 4-5 m of play it's a slide show x (
pls fix this bug

Hey CubeCrafters!

Over the past week, you may have noticed our network has been put under additional strain due to the PlayStation 4 release. We thought we'd give you a bit of insight into how we're coping with this demand so far.

Over the past 4 days, we've seen our global player-count skyrocket to over 45,000 players, which completely smashed all of our previous records. We've seen our playercount on Bedrock nearly triple, and become the second featured server to reach 40,000 players on one platform. As such we instantly took measures to be able to cope with this load.
  1. We've ordered dozens of new servers, adding up to 2.24TB of RAM and 300 cores.
  2. We've seen our bandwidth across the network go up massively, peaking at over 8 gigabits per second.
These new servers have the capacity to hold over 9000 players. Some of you may remember that over Summer, we similarly had to increase our capacity. Since the release, we have seen numbers higher than what we reached during lockdown, and have scaled up faster than we have ever before.

Over the past few months, we've started using the cloud to scale up our server, which has been heavily utilised over the past few days. On the cloud alone, we've added 4TB of RAM and over 1,000 vCores. Our developers have also been working hard to optimise various parts of our core infrastructure to make sure we can deal with the demand.

We know that our network has been more laggy than usual - we're working hard on putting in more frontends and servers to balance out the load, and increasing our network capacity significantly with the amount of optimisations we're doing.

Bueno yo creo que ya es hora de poner los lobby's en Java
Cuando hay 5000 personas, los lobby's principales se saturan y se sobresatura la conexión de estos y no te deja hacer nada

I remember they were looking at a screen for the 30K players. This server has had its ups and downs but just deserves to be on top of the minecraft servers. Great community! The super nice updates and the improved anti - cheat. Congrats on 40K!

But oftentimes I still can't eat a gapple without the eat time resetting and end up getting crit out.... And get my blocks deleted by Sentinel when I'm trying to bridge fight... And my bow not releasing arrows a good 60-70% of the time *with the bow having been fully pulled back*.

Did this start before the lag or at the same time as the lag appeared?

This has been happening since around the time of the EggWars update. It was really bad then because I would get lagged *into* full block stair bridges if I sprinted, wasn't able to do head-hitters or place blocks and then jump off them without getting lagged back. I have serious lag because of my location, but it was never *this* bad that all these things happened together.

(I have big boi gaming computer so it's not an issue with my hardware)
