Once an anvil is placed, is there a way to pick it back up? When trying traditional method of pickaxe it just says pickaxe is full, fists opens up the repair gui etc etc.

I'm guessing it has to be dropped into the void? But it seems like such a waste. Was hoping to be able to take it with me while gathering for on the go repairs

It’s not a bug. Just crouch and break it. I play on bedrock too.
Edit: sorry I don’t think I really understood what was happening. If you’ve already tried crouching and breaking, then it may be a bug. But I don’t even think it’s possible to break it without crouching.
