Hey guys! I had a cool suggestion I wanted to share out as I just got this idea while play Star Wars Battlefront 2. If you don't play the game, every Wednesday they have an event called Double XP Wednesdays. Basically, for the whole day, you earn double XP as motivations to log on and play. So I was thinking Cube could do something similar.

My idea is simple, Double Point Saturdays, here is the catch, every Saturday for the whole day, a random game mode is picked, whatever game mode it is getting double points for the whole day, not only as an incentive to get on and play Cube but also to play the specific game, points can be brutal to obtain so that's why I thought this could be a good idea as the similar equivalent on battlefront 2 shows that most players play on those Wednesdays than weekends.

Now at this point, I have another idea and it's the same exact one but this also adds double XP for everyone as well, since this one could be taken with a grain of salt depending on how you feel about XP boosters I will leave it up to you to vote on what you would like to see. Good day! <3

P.S You cannot activate any multipliers for that game mode as there technically already is one for that game mode, if you try to add one it won't work, and if you try to add one with less than 1 full hour of time for it to be active before this kicks in, it will be returned to you unsuccessful.

P.P.S I have changed the suggestion to be the first Saturday and last Saturday of every month to balance it out.

This sounds like a good idea, because, what you said, you motivate players to join the network and play the game that is featured at that moment.

I would also like to see Double XP days, because levels aren’t game-changing. (Skill =/= Level)

Players will try to play as many games as possible to gain the most XP & points out of it, so +1. :)

Sure! I think this would be so OP and and gain levels won't be satisfactory anymore, and, about the points, any people will buy multipliers and that will affect CubeCraft.

I can kind of see where you're coming from but lots of people buy multipliers and apply them all weekend so in short, it's the same thing, levels have already been kind of messed up and as CraftCreatures mentioned levels don't mean much at all. Yes, but this will increase players as it gives the incentive to play, play specific game modes, and also make it so players don't have to pay at all and can just enjoy themselves.

They could do this once as a celebration of 10k (if it ever happens) players. But every saturday is a little too much in my opinion.

Maybe, however, I have a feeling a celebration for 10K will be slightly different... Also if it worked for Battlefront and brought out at least 2.5k more people on than the rest of the week combined I feel like possibly this could be worthy of trying, maybe even once or twice a month, point is, it could be really helpful, especially in the middle of the coronavirus.

But to the suggestion: I really like the idea itselfs, but I think every week is too OP. Doing this, for example, every first saturday of the month or every other week. Or the first week double XP, second week double points etcetera..

I like your idea about the Double Points Saturdays and I would like to see this implemented. However, every Saturday is a bit too much in my opinion. What about once a month; let's say the first Saturday of every month? I personally think that would be better. Now about the Double XP Saturdays. Even though it sounds pretty nice at first, I think it's too overpowered. Nowadays, being level 80 isn't that special anymore, since a lot of people are already level 100+. If this would be implemented, becoming level 100 might not even be special for the reason that leveling up would be so much easier. Hence is why I would not like to see the double XP.
Anyway, well explained suggestion. ;)

The idea in itself it beautiful and could be implemented but how do you choose which game gets the booster? Is it a cycle? Pick by the community? About the double XP, I would say yes, point become “worthless” after a while as you can literally buy everything. Yes I takes ages but it is possible. Yet XP keeps on going and getting to a higher level is always fun. So double XP and Point a bit more thinking about how the game is picked and the idea is absolute perfection!

If it's a cycle, then it's predictable, people will only show up for whatever ones they like, therefore removing the element of surprise and adding the harmful element of anticipation.

That’s a really good point ! Haven’t thought about it that way. Yeah, you’re right a ‘spinning weel’ is a better idea. Hopefully staff sees this idea, I really like it and apparently other players as wel!

I really like this concept but I feel like it would get a bit too much to do such a thing every week. Maybe this could be one day a month? Like the last Saturday of the month?

LitDs have been about the normal, human-to-human relationships in the world, so there's a lot of ideas that I want to write, that are not so grand or lore-focused.

But I don't really want to write anymore.

I literally went through today with no motivation to do ANYTHING... help me.
This past week has seriously been the worst. Terrible things keep happening one after the other.
