Won a round of Magic with me and one friend (2v4v4v4) and we didn't have our egg destroyed. This method worked just fine for us!

Just a few layers of glass around our egg, with water on top. Worked like a charm.

Nah its a glitch, little known fact is that if you build to the top of the tower on the island there is water, if you place blocks in the correct pattern it causes the water to spill out all over the island

That is correct. Only works on magic. It isn't a glitch, but AFAIK it's unintentional. Can be used to troll people on opposing teams and kill AFK opponents easily as well.

And yes, you can also see that we built to the hidden level 3 diamond generator. We actually do this before going to the lower section of mid, as it takes about less than a minute to farm the required diamonds for full iron armor + diamond sword to take over mid early on. IMO, the generator should be removed or nerfed. Same goes for the water.

Little known fact it's not a glitch but normal MC mechanics, same when you get chorus in that one Solo map...
But yeah I can tell Magic is one of the weirdest maps ever, with @Nikoshka I found (in the same game) both a guy that transformed his base into a tower with room on top and a guy who climbed up mid to afk in the generator...
It's funny and at the same time interesting to see what people come up with in this map.
