Hello, CubeCrafters!
I've reached 100 days in Egg Wars Mega, and to mark the occasion, I decided to create a montage of the best moments I've collected over that time. The video took a long time to complete: it all started with writing the script, and then I started building my own map. My favorite map, "Fallen," was my choice.
Initially, I planned to create a full-fledged animation, something like an Egg Wars movie, but I ran into a number of technical difficulties such a project required powerful hardware. Incidentally, CubeCraft didn't have PG at the time it was 2024 and that's when I started working on my map.
I built it on Bedrock Edition for about two months. Every time I visited the original Fallen map, I counted the blocks, memorized the locations of the pieces, took screenshots, and recreated the map step by step. There were some funny moments: while I was standing there, my teammates would run up to me, waving their swords, and shout, "Hey, Daniil, what are you doing here?! They broke our egg!"
And I stood there thinking, "Don't bother me, dude, I forgot how many blocks there are!"
When the structure was ready, I shared the result on my Discord server, and that marked the beginning of the next stage of porting the map to Java Edition. After the port, I continued working, adding atmosphere, details, and a visual style to capture the spirit of the original and create something truly special. Next came the animation and video production stage, which we worked on together with CeruleanPrism81. At first, I thought that simply recreating someone else's map would be a daunting task, but when we started animating, I realized it was much more challenging than expected. Despite all the difficulties and technical challenges, we managed it, and the result is a work I'm truly proud of.
We made the first part of the film more dramatic, using action stuff to convey the tension and dynamism of the action. CeruleanPrism81 put a lot of effort into the animation, and it was thanks to him that the scenes came to life just as I imagined.
In the end, the editing and animation turned out exactly as I dreamed, and I'm so happy to share it with you. I hope you enjoy the video and have as much fun as we had creating it!

I believe I'm at around 28 days of playtime myself but I'll be sure to play a lot more.
