What’s the deal with spawners?!?

so spawners aren’t consistent at all.

Is there a formula or guide on how to calculate the height required for a 1 hit kill?

why does the height change seemingly randomly?

Because spawners spawn multiple levels of mobs, which have different amounts of health.

Formula for fall damage with h=height
(h-3)/2= Damage in HP

Build 5 blocks above the hight required and you should be fine for All Mobs except tough enemies.

I think spawners spawn mobs in an 8 block radius but will stop if theres a certain amount of mobs in a 16 block radius (numbers might be inaccurate someone fact check that)

They spawn 4 blocks out horizontally, on a block that is placed two blocks under the spawner or if a block is placed ontop of the spawner. So a 9wide and 4 block high area

From my testing and research I have found what seems to be facts.

1. They spawn mobs in a 2 block radius

2. If there is 2 or more players online in the “Profile”, the mobs health decreases. This means you need to build a platform 18 blocks higher to compensate this.

1 player online = normal height
2 or more players online = 18 blocks higher

3. spawners hate me
