So far this is what I've figured out and I think it will help some people make farms (NOT HOSTILE MOB SPAWNERS)
1. Players must have a gap less than or equal to 30 horizontally (x&z) for a spawner to spawn such as
P------------------------------S (30 dashes, the player and spawner block do not count)
2. Y axis does not matter (up and down) even if you are so high the animals don't render, they are still spawning (i only tested about 150 blocks but I think its unlimited)
3. The games creates a circle around you so you must be withing 30 blocks diagonal (good luck figuring this out)
You can also be in-between spawners like this
S------------------------------P------------------------------S and both spawners will still function.
