I found this comment on minecraft-server-list.com
I think everybody in the lobbies should have a written book which explains each game thoroughly as well as the rules of the server in detail (since /rules is really brief and outdated now) It will give new players a better welcome and understanding as to what the server has in store for them. This is necessary since a large majority of the community are younger players who may not understand how the server works or which commands they're entitled to. Beacuse of this, they might just figure that it's too complicated for them and leave. I'm sure that there are other servers with a similar tutorial book on them but can you really call it copying? After all, a lot of servers also have skyblock, super craft bros and friends lists, so i hardly think that acquiring a reputation for copying other servers is a concern for anybody.
What are your opinions on this? :)
