Weird bug with Dark Oak Logs

So recently I found a very weird bug with dark oak logs. When I try to place them while facing East or West, they remain as dark oak logs. But whenever I try to place them while facing North or South then for some reason they turn into Acacia Logs. Yes those Dark Oak logs gets converted into Acacia logs which is so weird.

The same thing happens with acacia logs, except they don’t transform into dark oak. They flip when you put them sideways. I already reported it and was logged, but you should also

hey, look from the bright side. if you have too much Dark and need acacia, you can farm it now! :D
