Update fortune not working on trees?

Like the title says, is there any update on it being fixed?

i'm pretty sure fortune on an axe had never ever been used on trees to get some more, save your axe for later and use it on melons and coco beans :) , it will help alot.

It did. i have fortune 10 and for a long time i got double the wood.

Yeah, it does, and it should. And trust me you'll want fortune for trees later on. It will help so much more now.

Does fortune work on trees for you now? Because i know a few months it didnt because off a bug. But it still doesnt work for me.
