I think you should get an alert when someone unfollows you saying something like this: Henry is no longer following you. That way when someone gets unfollowed, they don't have to go through all the people they follow to find out who it is or just a follow is permanent and once someone is followed, they can't be unfollowed.

It's not necessary. This is exactly what's gonna happen: Person A unfollows person B. Person B goes to Person A's profile and says "whyd you unfollow me?" Next thing you know, boom, arguments happen and friendships are broken.
This has ha purpose at all. If someone unfollows you, move on. It's one person of hundreds, so it really doesn't matter.
Plus, this will cause spam to people, if they keep clicking unfollow and follow..
Exactly what's already been said. Just arguments & spam, & no followers shouldn't be permanent, what if someone changes their mind or decides to re-evaluate their life choices?
