This would be pretty cool ;) However, what if someone died in the void? You would get like a little block that people could fall onto and survive. So, that could kindof be abused. Anyways, really awesome idea! +1

Maybe it's possible to code a floating sign, without a block. Otherwise it can be abused.

If that isn't possible, the sign must spawn on the place where you fell off.

Sounds neat, however if players can select their own death text then they may include inappropriate content in them.

They need to buy the pretext ones....

CubeCraft is a minigames server. So the whole meaning of it is playing 'games'.
However almost all the vanity items are in the lobby. That's why I wanted to suggest a new in-game vanity item. This one won't give you any disadvantages, for example revealing your position.

Tombstones
If you die in a game a sign (tombstone) will mark your death.
Tombstones will be available for all donators (You can also change it to Diamond+ or Obsidian only, I don't know what will fit the best)

You will start with a tombstone where no text is displayed. However you can buy text or unlock them with buying a rank, in the vanity menu in the lobby.
I made some examples:

Our MLG Pro (3000 vp)
<3 (5000 vp)
U nub! (10.000 vp)
Sample Text (Obsidian)
Prices/ranks can be edited

The tombstone will mark your death in SkyWars till the game ends. In gamemodes where you can respawn (EggWars, Control Point) the tombstone will mark your most recent death.

But wait there is more!
You can also add coloured text to your tombstone! All text will be displayed in the colour you've enabled. Text colours will work the same as glass colours.

White (Iron)
Blue (Lapiz)
And so on.
Red (5000 vp)
Pink (lvl 50)
Dark Grey (lvl 50)

I thought this system would be fun. You can alo change it to a vanity point system, or change the levels for Pink and Dark Grey text.

Hopefully it's possible to code, that a floating sign will spawn in the void.
Cause a floating block with a sign could give you some unfair advantages. But if that isn't possible a sign must spawn on the place were you fell of.
