The upgrade is unavailable

I have already unlocked the archer tower path 2. But when i want to upgrade my archer tower path 2 in game it says "the upgrade is unavailable". How can I solve this?

You should upgrade the first level of path 2, and you won't be able to do that if you don't have enough coins for it.

Hi! This is one of the new features of the Tower Defence update on January 26. You've to choose which tower path you want before you place a tower. You can choose which tower path you want by left- or right-clicking (if I'm correct) on the right tower in the 'Tower builder'.

I know it's annoying to not be able to upgrade your team's path because "They haven't chosen the upgrade path yet!"... That's a problem of the past! You now need to choose the path of the tower that you are placing. This is also supported by the quick-placing tower method, so you can shift-click an archer tower with path two, for example. If you do not choose a path, it defaults to the top path.
