Hey! I like making game ideas for CubeCraft, and this is one I've liked for a bit. Introducing...

The Penguin!

The Penguin is quite straightforward, being a bit like a hybrid between Snowman Survival and Ender!

There is a giant penguin in the centre of the map, who will chase you down and try and eat you. This penguin isn't controlled by a player, it is just really smart AI. If if eats you, you are eliminated.

Rules

Whilst you are running away from The Penguin, you must collect jumping fish around the map. These can be thrown into the penguin's mouth. If the penguin eats 20 fish, you win. If the penguin doesn't for over 5 minutes, he goes on a rampage and you lose the game. There is a lot of hiding spaces and areas where you can hide from the penguin.

Powerups

The game couldn't be fun without some sort of power-up! I have thought of a few:

Speed and Jump Boosts- self-explanatory, 10s durations each

Tracker- reveals the location of the penguin, 15s duration

Ice Bomb- can be thrown at the penguin to stun them for 10s

Trap- decoy fish you can place down for the penguin to follow, when the penguin gets there the trap lands on him and he is stunned for 15s

Whale- lets you fly on the back of a flying whale for 20s

Modes/Variants

Regular Mode- regular
Double Mode- two penguins
Rampage Mode- really hard, penguin really quick, big and strong
Tiny Penguins- instead of a big penguin there is 15 tiny ones who need to be fed 1 fish each to disappear

Maps

All the maps are really big to have plenty of hiding spaces. They are:

Tundra, Ice, Wonderland, Grotto, Mountain, Aurora Borealis, Candy Canes

This honestly sounds like a MinerWare boss game idea more than an actual game by itself. Seems like you meant for it to be a seasonal gamemode? If not, I think it would be better off using a creature that is known for trying to nom on everything... such as a shark. It's a silly idea, but I don't see it becoming a game by itself.

Well said! I think that it is quite big and might not fit as a MinerWare boss game though. Considering it has maps and powerups, it would probably be just a limited winter game.

I think it has potential to be a seasonal game mode alongside snowman survival. But introducing AI to the server may be a tad bit difficult

I think the difficulty you are talking about is the ChatGPT level (as in language model) which in some Minecraft mobs are very low than that.

I don’t know how I feel about this yet it could be really cool or not or I don’t really get the idea but it’s kinda a cool idea that I think cubecraft wouldn’t do. Something u should add is when u die u turn into a snowman and work with the boss.

its not silly. if you want it to be something that would eat people hoshi, then maybe a polar bear instead due to it being winter themed

I could see a polar bear working too, but I still think the whole idea would better fit as a MinerWare boss game - a less intricate version of the game - rather than this.

For the sake of marketing i guess, have both two versions of that game. Have the winter version to be longer and chaotic and the Minerware to be simple and short. Its a win win right? i could hear someone shout GET OUT! Because I know the idea might be absolute dookie

For example, you're silly as in you're funny, but you're not bad. Sometimes silly IS bad (if your in like an important meeting) but on Minecraft it isn't.
