As you might know, cubecraft has lots of hackers. The anticheat however can be improved. There are simple things that can be added to make finding hackers and making them get punished easier. Cubecraft has developed their own anticheat so these things might be easier to develop.

1. cps counters/reach counters

This one is really simple, just add a cps counter for everyone on lmb/R2. What this means is that above your hotbar you can see your cps and maybe some other things. If you see this cps is consistently high, then they might be autoclicking. A sentinal feature that punishes you if you click very fast and consistently fast is a good thing to implement. Also a reach counter is a good thing to implement. If the reach is more than 3 blocks multiple hits in a row you can use that as evidence and of course a sentinal feature that punishes you if you hit more than 3 blocks far multiple times in a row. You can disable the counters above your own hotbar, but the ones under your own/others' usernames cant be disabled.

2. Add more hacks to the /report or /sr menu

As you might know these are the hacks in the /report menu that you can report for (random order sry): killaura, autoclicker, autobridge, antiknockback, fly and autoloot. (maybe some others i forgot). Some important hacks are missing. Like reach, of course this one is debatable, because of lag. But with a reach counter as mentioned here above, this is a good option. Also hacks like nofall, voidjump or autoclutch might be good to add. If you have other ideas which hacks to add please mention and i will add those here too :)

3. Less strict on video evidence.

When you file a report here on the forums, in my opinion its way to strict. Firstly remove the full screen requirement. People on console most likely cant meet this. Or they have to show their entire tv or so. Some people dont like that, and that stops them from reporting hackers. Other things are way to strict too. I have not had those things, but other people i know have. Less strictness would definitely help to make cube hacker free.

Thank you very much for reading! And i hope you liked it :)

I'm speaking for Java here.

To my knowledge, don't hate me if I'm wrong, there is already some sort of cps counter built in to Sentinel. People using auto clickers usually end up getting banned fairly fast. Though, nowadays some players get very high cps in fair ways. Drag clicking (which is considerably unfair as some computer mice simply can't handle this) is very common and can be quite difficult to distinguish from an auto clicker. If Sentinel gets programmed to be more strict on this I could imagine innocent people getting banned unfairly. This is a difficult matter but in my opinion, on Java, there aren't that many situations where an auto clicker would benefit you.

Coming to your second point, I personally don't disagree with this. It might get very confusing if you dont know which hack to pick. Looking at the ones that are there right now I think they are good picks to have a global understanding of what the hacker is doing. Then it is up to the moderators to check it out and ban, or not, the player for whatever hack they suspect it is.

Lastly, I understand why you would want the video evidence to get reviewed more strictly, and this might actually be a good thing. However, I also believe in innocent until proven guilty, meaning the moderators should only ban if 100% sure that the player was actually breaking the rules. If the video evidence is too short, in the opinion of the moderator, then sadly it will, and should, get denied and thus closed.

I understand your frustration with the hacker issue, but I fear that there will be too many unfair bans.

I'd like to see improvements, but I'm against displaying Reach and CPS.

I think the report menu was designed with the idea of including the most common advantages you might find in a hacker.

Realistically, the vast majority of cheaters who ruin the PvP experience do so in a very obvious way (blatant), although I don't rule out that there are cases where you have to be thorough in your reporting. However, it's been a long time since I've seen cases of NoFall or anything like that, as you mention (I'm talking about Skywars and Lucky Islands). In any case, I'd like to ask you, which modes do you usually play the most?

Thank you for your opinion, I have just changed the tag to bedrock as it seems like it isnt a problem on java.

I'd like to see improvements, but I'm against displaying Reach and CPS.
It would make finding autoclickers and reachers a lot easier though.

The thing is, console players cant easily report players with video evidence, so if there were more options for them, it would work better.

I understand you might not have seen no-fall, but the thing is, you can barely see it in game, but if sentinal could calculate it, it might just work better.

Sounds good! Other players could of course have a different experience but this is what I personally think. Changing the tag to Bedrock is a good idea. :)

This is a good idea but what if someone is on rmb then it wouldn't work (unless i have understood this wrong).

I think instead of a long list of hacks, you should have the main hacks (killaura, reach, scaffold, fly and antikb) and a section called 'Other' where you can describe the hack they are using.

As a previous console player, I partially agree. I dont know what it is like for PS and Switch but for Xbox unless you have a USB stick their is no easy way to get clips of your console, so I partially agree. Maybe they need a subsection on the video evidence for what device and whether it is fullscreen - PC, Console - Fullscreen, Console - Normal.

I wouldn't prefer making such information about players visible to everyone to be honest. There would be many players who would assume that any player with high CPS or reach values is a cheater. It would increase the amount of false reports submitted.

2. Add more hacks to the /report or /sr menu

As you might know these are the hacks in the /report menu that you can report for (random order sry): killaura, autoclicker, autobridge, antiknockback, fly and autoloot. (maybe some others i forgot). Reach was an in-game report option long time ago and it was removed because reported players were either getting banned by Sentinel before the moderator could check the report or the reported player was not actually cheating. It was best for our team to have this option removed so that other blatant cheaters are banned faster by moderators. Other report types you mentioned such as nofall or voidjump can be reported with "fly" and autoclutch can be reported with "autobridge". I believe it would be unnecessary to be very specific and add lots of report types to the in-game report menu. It would be very confusing. The current report options are fine in my opinion as the report menu includes the most used cheats. I don't think any important report option is missing in the menu at the moment.

3. Less strict on video evidence.

We have report requirements to make sure that submitted evidence is not falsified and it can easily be handled by moderators. A non-fullscreen evidence can easily be falsified and players can even hide any cheat client modifications in their evidence. I don't think being more lenient on our report requirements would be a good idea. It would make moderation harder.

For these reasons I stated above, I have to disagree with this suggestion.
