Ruin the surprise, how? The point is to test things you HAVE unlocked not stuff you don’t own.

Thats even more useless, you can test the gadgets in the lobby

You can’t test, cages, arrow trails (depending), and a few other things. It’s still useful.

I mean, the lobby is technically a test room.

To me it seems much better to add a preview option next to cages which will teleport you somewhere where you can see it, we're hitting a point where there are so many cages that this will be extremely helpful for our cage collectors on the network.

However I'm gonna say no to your original suggestion.

I like your suggestion better actually as it was kind of the point of mine, however, mine included any current gadgets.

Most of the times when I unlock a new arrow trail or cage, I just join a solo skywars game so I can see what the cage looks like. If I like it, I keep it selected. If I don’t like it, I will go back to the lobby when the game ends and select another cage. This is the same for arrow trails. Whenever I unlock a new gadget, I try the gadget in the lobby. Good suggestion, tho! ;)
