Hello!
Summer is here once again and I logged back into CubeCraft for the first time in a couple of months. Everything looks the same as in September last year. Mostly. The gamemodes are almost exactly the same. I see well over a thousand players online. That's great numbers! However, I don't feel the same energy as before. This could, and might well be, a perspective me and no one else shares, but where's the excitement? There's barely any discussions going on in the lobbies (compared to before). When I play my few games it's just like a bunch of zombies. Where is the passion?
The passion I am talking about is what initially got me into playing CubeCraft. More specifically Team Lucky Islands. The fact that people were communicating, chilling and also playing casually made it feel like a family. At least for me. Despite in the end not being a whole lot of players left, I still felt a flame burning amoung the community. Even when it was added as a temporary gamemode. That's why I'm still, a year later, dreaming of Team Lucky Islands returning (at least temporarily) for a possible "last dance" with the friends I made all along. I really hope I am not the only one sharing this feeling, but even if that'd be the case I still stand for my opinion that Team Lucky Islands bring much more to the game and the server than Solo Lucky Islands.
I wish everyone a happy summer, and thanks for taking part of my (desperate) wish to get to see Team Lucky Islands (at least) one more time on this server.
Best wishes,
Moomin
