Everytime I go to SG, I start the match and have many people following me, which is annoying, because as soon as the timer goes of they kill me when I have nothing JUST because im a donator. I hardly ever get to play due to this reason!

That's why no donators play SG. Stones just try to kill us just to see if we have DIAMOND ARMOUR. They only want our armour, which is annoying.

Leave the game, get a different kit etc...

Yeah I get this problem too, but kit scout is pretty awesome in fixing it. Or choose armour kit, no one will target someone with full armour at the start

maybe you shouldn't ale yourself a target, and have someone take a look at you. seems like u have a severe case of paranoia

Here's the answer :) - stones target donors to simply take revenge; maybe last time you killed them .-. ....
Stones also target donors bc they want your kit. I want to kill a donor in skywars first because they might have a good kit, bomb or enderman ect...
Stones also target donors. Because they might be at mid, killing the op first....

I have the same problem, what it might be posible to do in the future is so that just before the games starts, when everyone gets teleported to the podiums that you start on, I could change all player name colours to be the same, maybe something like yellow, just so that you can't tell the difference between donors and default players! What do you think?
