Hey everyone, are you ready to fight to the death in this new epic Survival Games update? New features, bug fixes, three epic new maps and more! May the odds be ever in your favour.
Sponsoring
In the spirit of the original Hunger Games on which Survival Games is based, we've added a very cool sponsoring feature! Now once you die spectating isn't your only option! You'll also be able to help affect the game by sponsoring a player of your choice with some randomised items. Simply type /sponsor (player) to get access to the sponsorship menu.
From there you'll be able to pick from 4 different categories - Armour, Weapons, Food, and Other. Once you have made your selection a chest will fall from the sky near your sponsored player filled with randomised items from the category you chose.
New World Events
We're also releasing 2 new world events: Earthquake and Sugar Rush!
During Earthquake, the ground will shake uncontrollably and so will you! Hitting players becomes a lot more challenging and be careful of being indoors as buildings collapse leaving a true path of destruction.
Sugar Rush brings delicious sugary cake falling from the sky. Eating some of these treats will give you a burst of a random positive potion effect, hopefully helping you to win the game!

Full Changelog
- Added 3 new maps (Candy, Desert, Fairytale), although you already knew that as we just had images...
- Lowered map player counts for Seasons to 24, Fantasy to 24 and Underwater to 16. WHOOP!
- The fewer players in a game the faster the World Border shrinks.
- TNT and Lava are no longer available in the Basic Item selection. Oh and Fishing Rods are not available at all. :)
- Footsteps don't appear now so you can stealth your way around the map!
- Lava now follows fluid dynamics (it flows, we fixed it).
- TNT no longer has an attitude (you can place it) and Flint and Steel no longer gets wet (you can use it).
- OUCH! TNT is 50% more realistic as the person placing it takes damage. However it is still a 1m cube so not 100% realistic. #JustMinecraftThings
- Tips are now useful.. ish.
- Player tracker works like you think (the same as in our other games).
- Also you can now find Player Trackers in chests.
- Added sponsoring feature (again you probably knew that if you read the announcement above).
- Improved player release mechanism, now using 100% more barrier blocks!
- You can now walk through the dead (corpses are now less trapping).
- Spectators now stay on their teams, no more deserting (that was a joke, there's a map called Desert).
- Join team #NoSleep. You can't use beds now.
- Spectators are locked in to the same space as players, no longer can they wander to the other side.
- Lightning is quieter, you're welcome headphone users.
- Achievement Get! "Fixed achievements": "Organized Onslaught", "Fiery Friendship", "Medic, One Man Army".
- Chests can now contain Splash Healing Potions.
- Made netherportals not possible to make anymore with water and lava buckets
- No you can't go to the Nether, we fixed it. Feel free to try it. You can't.
- OP Mode now more OP! We added Golden Apples to chests.
