An issue on the leaderboards which doesn't get talked about is boosting. If you don't know what boosting is, it is when you play with cheater or boost your stats in an unfair way (e.g. botting). There are players, particularly on Eggwars leaderboards who have boosted 10000s of wins. My suggestion is to clear their stats and leaderboard positions and ban those boosters as they are using illegitimate ways of grinding wins.

I agree to some extent, but not with resetting the global rankings. Some players are veterans or very focused on playing clean, and I don't think it's fair to them. I believe they should review each player's ranking without their knowledge to determine if they're cheating, instead of completely resetting the rankings. Resetting them would harm those who are truly clean, as I mentioned.

It is already illegal to intentionally play with cheaters to gain wins. This includes using bots, playing with someone who is using cheats or making a huge party with your friends and everyone else leaves the game as soon as the game starts so that you get the win. I remember that there were multiple Java leaderboard players who used to abuse these methods a lot in the past. They joined 10vs10 player maps over and over with a party of 15 players, and those 5 players left the game as soon as it started, which left me against 10 leaderboard players with just 4 other players. Also some players farmed wins in the Ender back in 2024s Halloween event, which resulted in a lot of well known players getting banned. Some even got permanently banned for repeating the same mistake over and over.

Pretty sure that the OP meant to especially only punish players who have cheated, and not just wipe everyones stats away. That obviously wouldn't be something that they should do.

I ment only banning people who have boosted (when you gain stats illegitimately)

Hello.
If I'm not wrong this is game fixing/win farming(since the hacker will 99% win every game due to cheats or illegal clicking methods) and it's illegal in CubeCraft.
About what you said, yes this should be bannable(if it's not already) since whats the point of leaderboards if most of them are carried by cheaters? Definitely agree with you.

It's bannable already; once a cheater is banned, they will be removed from the leaderboard, and a stats reset will take place for the account that was cheating.
