  • We're running an internal migration of all old players' stats to our new highly advanced statistics tracking backend. This means that stat changes will be a bit delayed while we ingest this huge backlog of data. Nothing is being lost, it'll just take a bit longer to show up in the in-game UIs.

Proposal: Revamping the Leaderboard System & Player Incentives
1. Dynamic Leaderboard Intervals
Instead of a single, static "All-Time" leaderboard, I suggest implementing Cyclic Leaderboards:
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly categories.
Why? This gives new and casual players a fair chance to compete. Seeing a top player with millions of points can be discouraging, but seeing a weekly leader with reachable stats motivates everyone to grind.
2. Expanding the Top List
Expand the leaderboard from the current Top 50 to Top 100 players.
Why? A wider bracket acknowledges more of the community’s talent and keeps players ranked 51–100 engaged and pushing to break into the top tiers.
3. Competitive Rewards (The "Incentive" Program)
Since ranks are now renewable (every 3 months), rewards have become more valuable than ever. I propose rewarding the Top 3 Players of the Monthly or Yearly leaderboards:
Monthly Rewards: A free Rank Renewal (for another 3 months), a free Bundle, or a unique Cage.
Yearly Rewards: A permanent Rank upgrade or a free subscription to a game/pass of their choice.
4. Exclusive Prestige Badges (Visual Recognition)
Introduce unique visual badges or icons next to the player's name in the lobby and chat for those who finished in the Top 10 of the previous month.
Why? Social status and "flexing" are huge motivators. This gives players a reason to defend their title every single month to keep their badge.
The Core Benefit: Player Retention
The primary goal is to increase Player Retention. When players have a fresh start every week/month and tangible rewards to aim for, they are much more likely to return daily, resulting in higher Daily Active Users (DAU) for CubeCraft.

Java network used to have seasonal leaderboards, which reset every few months. It was pretty fun so I think that monthly leaderboard would be pretty cool thing to have.

On Java network leader boards actually show top 200 players already, so I'm kinda surprised that Bedrock doesn't. I think they should just expand the leaderboards to top 200 just like on Java.

The only thing I am bit skeptical about is free rewards for top players monthly/yearly. Now there is nothing wrong with this idea, but these rewards should in my opinion be available for everyone again in the future. This is because FOMO (fear of missing out) rewards are quite annoying for many users.

Overall really good suggestion which would definitely make leaderboards more interesting! :agree:

Proposed Translation
"Unfortunately, it’s likely that my suggestion won't be implemented due to their lack of interest. However, if it were to be applied, the server's popularity would skyrocket!
Regarding the free rewards, as I mentioned before, there should be a free bundle or a unique 'Cage' for the top three winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). This would give professional players a real incentive to compete.
Instead of being forced to pay to get these items, they would finally have a chance to earn them through skill. For instance, the 'Rabbit Bundle' could be awarded to the top three or top five players."

Number 1 would get backlash from people who spent lots of time grinding for the all-time leaderboard but the rest like the badges would be nice to see and top 100 would make the leaderboards actually achievable for someone with a bit of free time

Probably not ranks or bundles because Cube likes their money, but maybe badges next to the players name in matches and lobbies or a cosmetic that u get for qualifying for the top 200, 100, 50, 10, 3, 2, 1. Same with the badges. Maybe a 2-week game rank for the top 10 of that games' monthly leaderboard?
