Java Skywars Duos

The skywars teams mode can have anywhere from 2-8 players on a team. It'd be convenient if there was a dedicated duos mode, as there are many times where I want to play with one friend. The cubecraft bedrock server already has Skywars duos, so it'd be nice if the Java server had that too.

There already is a 'duos mode'. If you have a rank you can open the map selector to play a map with teams of 2 players whenever you'd like to.

If you have iron rank or higher you can choose the map, also a 2 teams map. If you don't have an rank you just need to have luck.

Even with this, I feel like it should be possible to play a duos game without a rank. The bedrock version is like that.

A duo mode is kinda unneccesary when you can join maps that only have teams of two? And why should Stone rankers be able to select duo maps, why not squads?

There are already maps of 2 players.

That's because there are no ranks on bedrock except for the pioneer rank.

I don't think that this has to be a feature for stone rank because it has been one of the main features you get with the iron rank for a really long time, and letting stone also be able to choose maps will make the iron rank kinda useless. And let's be honest, Iron rank isn't that expensive, only 7,99 GBP (4,00 GBP now with the 50% sale going on at the moment) c:
