The title points out a single issue, but the root of the problem is a little broader, not all items are included.

There are a lot of items that cannot be sold, but some I think should be sellable when they aren't.
So for me it's been for fish->cooked fish from the jungle biome that is inconsistent with the forest raw beef -> cooked beef and taiga raw chicken -> cooked chicken, all of which are part of achievments for those specific islands.
Feel free to comment what non-sellable items don't make sense to you!

you cant sell poisonous potatoes and the poisonous potato must be much more expensive than normal potatos, like 100 per poisonous potatos because is soo rare.
And you can sell dirt but not stone :/
The only way to get infinite dirt is buying it, why i will want to sell dirt

Yeah, I totally agree. When I play it and I want to sell that item, then it isn't possible. So with some items it will be very good to sell for low or a high price.
