Hey all,

Today I thought about making a thread where everyone can show off their pet(s). I guess you could kind of think of it as a sort of introduction thread but for your pet(s)?

The reason why I came up with this idea was because I do have pets myself, and I'd really love to know more about what sort of pets you all have!

If you'd like you can provide a description as well, including your pet's name, age, and just a little biography :)

I'll start:

This is Tex, she's 2 years old, She's a kakariki which literally means 'small parrot' and that's what she is! Her favorite food is sunflower seeds and she knows one word: 'hello'. Furthermore she also acts as my alarm clock for 7 in the morning and her main task is giving kisses, chilling on my shoulder, eating, and giving the cleaning lady a heart attack every time Tex tries to be social with her and flies at her to sit on her head!

Okay, you definitely know who I'm going to post! ;)

This is Kiki, she's a Jack Russell Terrier and she's currently 8 months old. She enjoys destroying every toy we buy her, (I think this is her way of making us just buy her infinite toys) and she has her tongue stick out from time to time.

I've already taught her how to lie down, sit and give me paw, so she's definitely learnt a lot ever since we got her!

Hoi, this is my very cute doggo. Her name is Zyvah and she's almost 4 months old. The first photo was taken when we picked her up from the breeder's place, so ye she was kinda small back then xd. Aight enjoy the pictures I guess.

Ahhh this is so cute! I’m really lucky because I’ve 3 dogs & 3 cats:

I’ll start with Fenna, she’s 10 months old and we received her last year as a birthday present for my mom. I actually don’t know what kind of dog she’s, but I‘d know she’s from multiple breeds. Fenna is a dog who really likes to learn new tricks, likes being outside and of course getting some sleep.

At my dads home we’ve 2 dogs and 3 cats: Blacky, Binky, Louis, Lotte and Loekie.

I’ll start with the oldest of them all, that’s Blacky. Blacky is 11 years old and really enjoys sleeping. Blacky doesn’t know a lot of tricks, since we didn’t learn him that much when he was younger (he can give me his paw and sit on commando though). Fun fact, his full name is Prins Blacky de eerste (Prince Blacky the first), we came up with his name when I was 5 lol).

Binky is the third oldest pet I’ve at my dads home, he’s 6 years old. Binky is a dog who‘s real name is Bink, however we didn’t think he was a real Bink so we decided to call him Binky. Binky doesn’t do much on a day beside sleeping and claiming all the toys.

Our oldest cat is 10 years old and becomes physically very old, for example he doesn’t see everything as good as before. Louis is an orange cat and enjoys being outside the whole night and return when it’s light to get some food, water and sleep so he’ll be prepared to say outside the whole night again.

Lotte is a cat who’s 4 years old and is a mother of Loekie & Lux! Unfortunately we gave Lux other owners, because otherwise we would have had too much pets. Loekie is a 2 years old son of Lotte and is really enjoying his life, he is searching for attention of the other pets (who aren’t enjoying him all the times sadly). Lotte and Loekie have had some hard fights, which is why we’ve decided to make the garage Lottes privates place.

How do your cats and dogs breathe in the same space without fighting? If it were my dogs they wouldn't let any cats near them. Did they grow up together? I've never ever had cats before, so I wouldn't know :')

Uhhm I think we’ve had a lot of luck with our pets xd. After we got Blacky we got Louis really fast as well, they grew up together and became friends with each other. (Fun fact we’ve had a bunny walking in our living room and he was friends with Blacky and Louis, but he became too big to stay inside the whole day). The first day we got Binky was a weird day for Louis, Louis saw Blacky and Binky becoming friends and accepted Binky because of that. A few years later we got Lotte and she got a place in the group as well, she’s not really close but she gets accepted. When we got Loekie the first ‘fight’ began, since Louis and especially Lotte didn’t accept him as our pet. But since we gave Lotte her own space, she can live with Loekie in our living room.

Basically we’re extremely lucky with our pets accepting each other quite fast!

I sadly don’t have a lot of pics of my cat but I found this quick pic on my snap xd. This is Kosuke, I don’t exactly know what breed he is but I grew up with him ever since I was born. He’s 1 year older than me which means he’s currently 17 years old, about to turn 18! Sadly I had to find out that he had passed away on the 17th of december 2020. I still miss him every day since he has been by my side for basically my entire life, but I definitely have amazing memories with him and will cherish them forever

I also had to say goodbye to one of the first dogs I ever owned. I think I got her on my birthday, her name Was Nikita and she was a Jack Russell Terrier. She had passed away very soon after we'd gotten her sadly.

But now they are both in animal heaven, so it's okay :')

this fluffy lazy girl is my Dog, Bijou. she's my 13 Years old Airdale-Terrier and also my best friend in life.
Bijou is sometimes lazy, the other day acting like a pup x3 sadly not as playful anymore, but thats what you get from old ladies like her.
fun fact about her name, its french for jewel. hah, guess its our own fluffy jewel in that case x3

I saw everyone yeeting their pets in this cool thread so I decided to share some pictures of my cats here as well :D

This is Pepper he is 11 years old and he is very but very clumsy He literally destroys everything from plates to even my phone :( He really likes to start meowing in front of my door at 12am and to wake everyone up by deciding to lay on everyone their face

This is Chili and he is 11 years old. He is the most lazy cat to ever exist. All he does is washing himself all day long, eating and sleeping (yes the last 2 are big moods). He needs a lot of attention () so he is stalking you everywhere around the house so you pet him.

Hi! This is my cat Coco, but we call him Joop. He is 1 year old and he is very lazy. He's very funny and eats a lot of mice and birds. Also, he likes to sleep at impossible places.
