Java Should duels get re-added to java?

Duels was a great way to have a bit of practice for pvp and be isolated in a 1v1 scenario. Different kits really made this gamemode fun and I really don't see any reason why it shouldn't get added back as it was a great gamemode to have.

Honestly I don't see any reason why they can't add duels back. It takes two players to start the game, so it's literally impossible for games not start even during inactive hours, if that's what they fear.

There used to be quite many kits though. It could sometimes take too long for a duel to start as people would choose different kits. If there would be only a couple of kits, say 3, the duels would start faster. Even with few players online, I personally dont see why this couldn't be a feature.

Just some simple kits, like the one that was called 'tank' and maybe a speed and an archer kit. Perhaps custom kits for friendly duels as this wouldn't need another player to queue at the same this, this kit can be played with a friend or so.

And yes, for 1v1's you can always go on FFA and fight there, but this often results in others joining in. I'd say I fully agree and I would love to see duels getting added to the server once again.

Yeah totally agree with you. The gamemode should be added but with just few kits.

Probably because of the large amount of different kits. We most likely would not have this problem with only few kits available like @Siza mentioned.

I really liked duels! it only takes two players to start a match, so it's always active. The ability to create custom duels and have fun with friends in private matches was also a great feature. I really hope it gets added back to the server someday.

I don't see why cubecraft removed this in the first place, duels is just an important part of mc.
