Making this thread because I owe it to my past self. As a form of thanks, and to acknowledge what this server meant to me.
I joined this server because I saw some YouTubers playing on it. I played only eggwars at the time, FFA wasn’t even out yet. I was good at the game, I played many thrilling games on it. I used to care a lot about FFA in particular, I’d feel S A L T 100 after being targeted.
I joined the forums and made a few friends and it became a really great place to take my dissatisfaction out on. That was around 2017, nearly three years ago! Back then I couldnt even hold a conversation with another human being. On the forums however, I could throw my uncensored thoughts without a care, with the shield of anonymity. A place to let me emotions flow free.
Today, I am able to converse with absolutely anybody, I’m happy. The past year was rough which is why I joined the forums again anyway, but, I’m doing really well! Keeping really healthy mentally. I didn’y learn anything from this server or anything, not much, but since I left, I learned a lot.
I leadned how to smile and how to love and how to be happy for the first time and how to be free. As I’m writing this thread, I dont feel so embarrassed about this anymore. Here are some of the things I learned the hard way in the two years since I left CCG:
1. Loving is unconditional, love just because, not to expect it in return.
2. It’s ok to be cringe, people that cringe at self-expression are THE WORST kind of cringe.
3. Crying in public is kind of badass.
I also learned a lot of physics and chemistry which I regret. I’m not even pursuing science.
I’ve fed myself a lot of anime, so, considering myself the protagonist of my own story, I’m gonna become the greatest lawyer ever and fight. I’m going to fight for the environment. I’m going to try and make up for the mistakes all our elders made.
I dont even know why I’m making this thread. Maybe because I can breathe easy again, maybe someone will relate, idk.
