Planned Right-click to invite friends - Repost

This is a repost with my old suggestion here: Right-click to invite friends. This is to be in line with the new suggestions system.
Haven't changed anything with regard to the original post except for formatting because of the new forums :)

Description
As it is not always possible to autocomplete your friend's name when you invite them to your party, I thought it would be a nice feature to be able to right click their name in your friend list to send them a party invite.

This would allow you to send party invites to the few friends you want to invite with just a few clicks!

Options

• I would suggest a cooldown on the click invite after 7 continues invites to prevent from spamming.

Issues

• An issue might be accidently inviting friends while you actually wanted to chat with them by misclicking.

Possible solution

• One solution would be to only let the right-click feature paste the command in the chat, like with /fmsg. This would also further help prevent spamming.
• Another solution would be the introduction of the '/p list' command, a command that lists all online friends. These friends could then on-click be invited to your party much like you can message your friends with the '/f list' command.

To avoid accidentally inviting your friend when you want to message them (or vice versa) you could have a confirm message in chat (much like when you accept or decline a party invite) where you either confirm that you wanted to invite that person or not.

I'd rather make it open the players' profile. It solves all the issues mentioned above, such as accidental clicking, which saves us from adding cooldowns and confirmations. It also means the player gets access to more things like statistics.

Oh that's right, you can invite players now via their profile menu.
In that case you could have a right-click to open their menu functionality and invite them through there
That'd be handy

And as you said you can also view their stats then and other things
+ you don't have to add cooldowns and such

So sounds good

Going to confirm what's written above and say we'll be taking this route:
