  • We're running an internal migration of all old players' stats to our new highly advanced statistics tracking backend. This means that stat changes will be a bit delayed while we ingest this huge backlog of data. Nothing is being lost, it'll just take a bit longer to show up in the in-game UIs.

Should this be removed?

I disagree and would even love to see this feature coming to Bedrock aswell. I don't play on Java, but I know that there are sometimes situations in which it's hard to see if a player just has a bad connection or is hacking in Bedrock. Having the ability to check a player's connection would make it a lot easier to determine if the person is indeed hacking or is just having a bad connection.

Bullying others because of their ping shouldn't be allowed of course but I think removing the command wouldn't really change it. If someone really has a bad connection, you would be able to just see it on tab (Java).

a lot of "good" suggestions are either not possible or would take way too much development for it to be worth looking into. an escalation means that it is being looked at and a suggestion does not need to be "liked" for us to know it would have a positive impact, whoever escalated this did so because it could be done with less effort and would in-fact help reduce some toxicity on the server. The main point is Escalations don't mean that something is being added, and also dont require a thread to have a large amount of positive feedback. The whole point of an escalation is to let the community know that something is being looked at. its a status update not a trophy that all "good" threads deserve

With that way if putting it a lot of threads with great community support don't get looked at? Don't know if that's a good thing.

What- so cubecraft would rather do small updates that no one wants than a big update everyone wants :V

ok heres an example: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/new-game-⛏%EF%B8%8F-dungeons-survival-🏔%EF%B8%8F.272124/

This was a thread by me and axyy that got a lot of community support, but it should not have been escalated because it just isnt possible with the current development team. What i was saying is that an escalation is just a staff member saying that they believe the suggestion would help the server, it doesnt mean that its being added. And also, this threads purpose is not to argue about escalations so lets all stop talking about this and if you have something unrelated to this thread to say this isnt the place to post it.

I have to agree with that and even the good ones that get escalated are usually are ignored after escalation.

@ItzEnd3r lets say they add something the community hates and most of them hate it remember what happened to the “Epic Eggwars Update” or “The Big Change” and then they got an insane amount of backlash. Cubecraft does what the majority of players like most of the time because it’s a democracy not a dictatorship.

/ping for yourself is very useful, and it's even useful to know other players pings. Even if we removed the /ping feature for other players, people with mods and clients would be able to see your ping. I'm more in favour to keep this as a feature. Thanks for the suggestion!

Also, based on the votes, it looks like others aren't wanting it removed.
