Bedrock remove gold sword in skywars

title says it all. i already made a post about it a while ago but it didn't get enough attention so here's another try :D
golden swords are just useless because the tools you get are stronger most of the time

iron pickaxes and stone axes are better because their durability is better than a gold sword

I think your idea in your original post was better than just removing gold swords its a better idea to give them unbreakable.

the other swords will replace them, that's the nature of loot tables :p

Cubecraft has a system that guarantees you a sword off spawn.

It's why I like it more than Galaxite's or Hive's

it's not oversaturated like Mineville or Lifeboat

I literally use a stone axe or iron pickaxe because I refuse to use a gold sword.

I'm sorry to tell everyone that they are wrong but both a stone axe and an iron pickaxe do 0.5 more damage than a gold sword. See here. This does make the gold sword even more useless than you all think.

This does also apply to Eggwars so the best weapon to start with in normal is the iron pickaxe for 3 gold.
In overpowered, the 5 gold diamond pickaxe is also better than a sharp 2 wooden sword because it does more damage in crits.
Sword: 4*1.5 + 1 + 0.5 = 7.5
Pickaxe 5.5*1.5 = 8.25
Cubecraft bedrock also uses Java sharpness values so it is weaker.
