The server doesn't detect if you are using Optifine...

Everyone has that, optifine just clearly wants to tell you there is a new update for optifine, even better then ever. You can have optifine on cubecraft, it wont do anything, just zooming in & a cape.

It's not the server the tells you that, it's optifine. I'm pretty sure that if you log into a single player world it would tell you it as well.
It will also tell you that if you log to other minecraft servers.

Yes, I use optifine and the message pops up after you opened minecraft and log in to a sever/singleplayer world
