I play quakecraft alot and love it, but sometimes when I shoot and miss i don't know when I can shoot again. So I thought of an idea to make it so you can see the cooldown. The durability on the hoe can indicate how much cooldown you have until your next shot.

I would like this a lot. Perhaps you can shoot once every 10 seconds, and could be reduced with points or killstreaks? :D

I think a sound would fit more in the Quake genre considering in the game they didn't show an actual cool-down. Rather what they did was have a charge-up effect that gave you an idea of when your next shot was ready.

I recon it would have to sound a lot like some kind of rifle being reloaded, as the hoes do look similar to air rifles than other weapons, and the hoes do evidently resemble guns. But yeah, a sound effect would probably suit the game best for sure :D
