Dear CubeCraft Team,
I would like to present a well thought out strategic proposal that, in my opinion, has the potential to establish CubeCraft as a leading competitive platform in the Bedrock PvP scene in the long term.
The idea is to introduce an official Elo based ranked and tier system for Bedrock PvP, especially for Battle Arena, with a clear long term progression system and additional competitive tournament structures.
1. Long Term Progression, not a fast ranking system
A key point is that this system must be designed for long term progression.
This means:
Players should not be able to reach high ranks within a few days or even a week.
Progression into higher tiers should require weeks or even months of consistent performance.
High Tier 1 should only be achievable by the best players.
The higher the tier, the slower and more difficult the progression should become.
This creates:
Prestige
Serious competition
Long term motivation
Respect within the community
If everyone can reach high tier quickly, the system loses its value. Therefore, progression must be intentionally challenging.
2. Elo system and clear tier structure
The foundation would be an Elo based system.
Every player has a rating number.
Winning against stronger opponents grants more points.
Losing against weaker opponents results in larger point losses.
Matchmaking is based on skill level.
Tier structure:
Low Tier 5 → Low Tier 4 → Low Tier 3 → Low Tier 2 → Low Tier 1 →
High Tier 5 → High Tier 4 → High Tier 3 → High Tier 2 → High Tier 1
Additionally:
Seasonal resets
Placement matches
Official leaderboards
Anti cheat system
Smurf detection
Fair matchmaking logic
3. Official Bedrock Tier List
In addition to the ranked system, an official Bedrock tier list could be created.
This could be based on:
Elo points
Win rate
Kills
Performance against high tier players
Seasonal rankings
Many PvP communities already use similar systems. However, in the Bedrock scene, there is currently no large official server based version like this.
CubeCraft could become the first major server to introduce a professional Bedrock tier list system.
This would:
Create clarity
Structure the competitive scene
Increase competition
Generate content and discussion
4. Expanded competitive game modes
The system could be expanded with competitive modes such as:
Only Sword
UHC
Mace PvP
Crystal PvP
Hard PvP
Classic Ranked 1v1 and 2v2
This would create not just one ranked mode but a full competitive ecosystem.
5. Tournaments and live events
Based on the ranked system, official tournaments could be hosted.
Season finals featuring top players
High tier championships
1v1 or 2v2 ranked events
Live streamed competitions
The best players would compete against each other and viewers could watch high level matches live.
This would:
Generate massive attention
Create community hype
Motivate content creators
Strengthen the CubeCraft brand
6. Business and growth impact
This system is not just a feature, but a strategic move.
It would:
Increase average playtime
Improve long term player retention
Attract new competitive players
Bring back former 1.8.9 PvP players
Make Bedrock PvP more professional
Many Bedrock players do not have a gaming PC and play on console or mobile devices. Currently, they lack a serious competitive system. This would also strongly include console players and significantly expand the Bedrock PvP scene.
With proper promotion on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X, a ranked system like this would generate massive reach and visibility.
7. Personal background and community feedback
I was personally ranked as Low Tier 3 in the Java PvP scene and considered High Tier 3 in Bedrock PvP by other players. This shows how interesting and important an official system would be, so every player clearly knows their actual skill level.
I have already discussed this idea with many players. A large number of them agree and support it. I am also willing to create a structured survey to measure community interest more accurately.
Final thoughts
CubeCraft has the size, reach, and community to implement something like this.
A long term and competitive ranked system with an official Bedrock tier list and tournaments would not only give players clarity about their rank, but also elevate the entire Bedrock PvP scene to a new level.
I sincerely hope this proposal will be reviewed internally and thank you for your time.
Kind regards
