Played for the first time in months. Quite disappointed in what CubeCraft has become (Subscriptions)

I haven't been on CubeCraft in a few months after a 3rd broken Xbox 360 controller (stick drift is kind of inevitable with used ones considering their age, and bedrock just doesnt work well on keyboard and mouse). Finally got myself a DualSense during black friday and got back on CubeCraft. I'm really dissapointed to see that the ranks have become subscriptions now, and suffice to say I won't be buying any more of them unless this change is reverted. I'm really not sure why the CubeCraft team thinks this is a good idea. Subscription services like Netflix and Xbox Game Pass are constantly losing subscribers, while also offering far more than just a few extra features in a single game. The server has been losing players lately, and quite frankly making everything a subscription is going to make it hard to retain new players. I've been playing on this server since 2018 and have thousands of hours, and really hate to see it go downhill like this. I really hope that CubeCraft will reconsider their decision as I don't see how this is going to be sustainable.

The subscriptions are terrible. They used to cost 490 minecoins for 30 days, but now they're about 1550 minecoins for 90 days, which is a slight increase.

There is nothing wrong with a subscription model and I agree with the above, that from a business model perspective it makes total sense. The issue CC has is that for a subscription model to work, you have to have something players actually want to subscribe to.
