Skywars has an OP mode. Eggwars has an OP mode. Why not Blockwars?
I propose:
  • 5 minutes build time
  • 15 minutes fight time
  • 4 minutes overtime
In the build phase, each player would get 96 endstone.
The Fight phase would remain the same, as would the Overtime phase.

  • Diamond Armor
  • Diamond Sword, Sharpness II
  • Bow, Power I
  • 12 arrows
  • Iron Pickaxe, Efficiency I
Archer
  • Diamond Chestplate, Protection I
  • Stone Sword, Knockback I

  • 64 arrows, earn 6 on kill
  • Iron Pickaxe, Efficiency I
Runner
  • Diamond Armor
  • Diamond Sword
  • Speed II
  • Iron Pickaxe, Efficiency I

Seems like an interesting idea, I don't know if it would be very popular though, what block wars less needs right now, is losing more players. But I personally love this idea.

Could be fun as an update for BlockWars. Don't see a reason to not add it

I really don't think this would be much fun, would be impossible to reach the flags and nobody would capture a flag within the alloted time.

I just feel that this would ruin the vibe of the game, the quick kills and pace of the game would be ruined if everyone had tank armour. I like that you are trying to add ideas but we don't need more op/ hard-core sort of things in games, we are fine without them, I'm all for new and UNIQUE voting options but not the repetitive "Let's add diamond armour to this and it will be way cooler" it just isn't interesting any more after a few games. Things like say a "kit mix-up" to adjust the gear with each kit so we can get that long needed change in meta for the game would be nice but op, no.
