To be honest, I think this maps has potential. Add some variety to the islands, some detail to the middle and use a mix of blocks underneath the islands instead of smooth sandstone only. Once improved, I'd love to see new screenshots.

The idea itself, as stated above, contains a lot more potential than how you've built it. You should add:
• Better terraforming.
• More detail / size to the middle island.
• An overall better block palette.

A desert map would be great but its hard to make them look good. I would suggest add more detail but Im a nub at sand builds so There's not much I can suggest

I like the idea but the build needs more shape the island's has lack of shape it need to look natural, and not every island needs to be as the other, but i still like the idea and it has allot of potential maybe you should get someone to help you.

i really like the map and the individual islands are perfect [unless it is a team map then they should be a bit bigger to fit a few more chests or at least from the view we had pictures you showed] but the middle island [again this is only from what i saw in the pictures] seems to lack chests which chests are a little bit important don't you think =D
