New Lobby Themes!

Well guys,
this is going to be a boring thread.
But pls read, cause I noob.​

When was the last lobby update?
5 million years ago.
What different, fun lobbies are there?
Easter, Christmas and Halloween. No questions asked
How could they be improved?
Ohhhhh boy, don't get me started.
Is this thread really necessary?

Well, it seems we need some new lobby updates...
but where to start?​

Main Lobby
Honestly, there is nothing wrong with it. However, there are only like 4 custom lobbies, so it isn't very fun...
I know how to fix that!

• Christmas lobby- Don't change it
• Valentines Day lobby- Don't change it
• St. Patricks day- Cover the whole lobby in different shades of green
• Summer time lobby- Make the lobby by the ocean or something
• Halloween lobby- Don't change it
• Thanksgiving lobby- Decorate the lobby with autumn-like colors

A new Skywars and PvP lobby

Just something different mate, that's all I ask.

Christmas lobby- Don't change it

A redesign every year would be great in my opinion. It's fun to see that as a somewhat-veteran player who's experienced the different holiday lobbies multiple times AND it allows for a brand new item hunt which forces you to explore a new lobby.

Valentines Day lobby- Don't change it

Valentines day lobbies don't exist, and it's not much of a holiday either. I don't see it being worth a completely new hub.

St. Patricks day- Cover the whole lobby in different shades of green

Minor holiday; Doesn't really deserve a whole new lobby IMO.

Summer time lobby- Make the lobby by the ocean or something

Summer isn't really a holiday. It's more of a season.

Halloween lobby- Don't change it

Again, a minor holiday and I don't think the builders should spend a ton of time for a holiday like this.

This can't really work out especially in the second half of the year. The builders would need to build a brand new massive hub for each of these with less than a month in between holidays. They wouldn't have time to finish the lobbies, let alone provide maps for map- and game updates.
The main lobby alone takes forever to redesign with the current big events, so doing it for different gamemodes would be more of a nightmare too on top of what I said above.

Despite it having the potential to be really cool, I don't think Cube could handle the amount of maps needed for this. Each new hub needs to be new in for the long-term players to be able to explore a brand new map, and also in order for the item hunts to be interesting for long-term players.

Not really.
It's a great idea, but the server doesn't have the resources to do all of this. If we rush builds, their quality will go down.
If we want high quality builds, the builders require time to make it so.
It's just not practical really.

Change th Christmas lobby to add more things that also represent Hanukkah, New Years, and Kwanza
As well as any other holidays around that time

I'd honestly love to see new seasonal lobbies for the same season (which you celebrate) every year. Though, some of the seasons/holidays you mentioned, aren't really worth a new lobby.

Those small special days/holidays aren't really a new lobby worth. Though, I'd love to see a new lobby for the same season (which you celebrate) every year!
