I think the EULA still sees it as an advantage.

It is fairly similar to /fly, as it allows people to get around the lobbies quicker, and fly is not against the EULA, neither was the egg ride.

I think it's fairly similar to teleporting, and I didn't say the egg ride was against the EULA. :P

It doesn't give them any advantage in game, though. (Doesn't help them to win, etc.)

Someone told me it was about the Mojang EULA but I'm not sure... anyways I agree it'd be a good feature to the game :) And a lot of donators like to show off their gadgets to other players also.

If it doesn't change the in game gameplay, then it doesn't violate EULA. Teleporting now was removed because when shot, it literally teleports you to where the arrow is, meaning it is prone to glitching into walls and:
