New discord channel

Heyo fellow CubeCrafters,

Today I was bored, and suddenly I came up with the idea to make a new channel in the official CubeCraft-discord ( discord.gg/cubecraft ) called: Status

But Keanu, why would we add this?
The past few weeks there were some problems with the server (I don't blame the server for this, I am not a hater ;) ) ( you can follow a livefeed here: status.cubecraft.net ), but a lot of player didn't know this, so people asked a lot about it in #staff-help ( http://prntscr.com/ir7r05 and http://prntscr.com/ir7r77 ), so why not adding a #status or #server-status chat in discord? It would be easier to see the status, and less people are complaining and asking and all.

My idea is the following: on the status site, you see texts like this

Investigating
Leaderboards in our Game Lobbies are currently on strike! We're looking in to some issues preventing them from working. All stats are still being stored properly so keep battling it out.

But Keanu, will these messages be automatically or manually be sended?
I don't know. Personally I would ask a (trusted) developer to make a bot that automatically send a message in the channel if there is any update on the status-site, like when you subscribe you automatically receive an e-mail. If this will take to much time, I would manually do it. It's done in less then a minute!

Could be useful. I'm not against it.

You mentioned that maybe a bot could announce it, if something like this were to be added, I've got a bot that did this on my server. It worked pretty well. I mainly used it to announce when I was livestreaming.

If the management team do decide to add this, feel free to DM me and I'll do my best to give you the bot which you can customise.

This will actually make status.cubecraft.net useless. I also rather use the site, to be honest. I wouldn't mind if this get's added, though.

They could also just put status.cubecraft.net in #welcome. And like @Berre said, still everybody would spam in #staff-help.

Meant that as in, they can look at it and it might help them get something added that could do this. The bot is coded right now to announce into Minecraft but it can easily be changed. It just means they can copy and paste it and just change it ever so slightly.
