There's a pretty good reason to add it though.
This would save the time & effort for staff to lock threads due to necro-posting, since this feature could completely prevent necro-posting to begin with.


I'd like this feature to be honest. It's a huge time saver & makes a forum rule unnecessary. Obviously, this system would have to have exceptions by way of blacklisting the news & forum games threads.

I'm not saying that they should use that release. I was referring to that as an example that this specific feature is possible without too much work.
