Great tips! I personally think it helpful to invest in the gold mine. Just 2 levels (I believe around 600xp total). That way you gain money faster to buy new towers and place new troops.
But I agree with spawning zombies at the beginning of the game. Buying skeletons ASAP is also a very good way of letting the enemy team stress out haha

I use skeletons to get exp. I really like spamming necros, zeuses, and turrets, but it gets very expensive very fast.
Yeah also for XP, Skeletons are a great way of farming XP

An example of the server problem I was talking about. You can see the ping mismatch between my client and what the server says. If I was actually lagging, the ping number on my client would be much higher. The ping spike happened after playing a few matches in the server, which makes it impossible to have a long session without lagging or having to relog.
