Mob Who?! - Power-Ups, Throwable Knife & Kill-Reset Tracker Overview This is my own take at improving upon Mob Who?!. I've introduced several "Pickable Map Drops" and "Action Abilities."

Hiders now have access to several defensive escape abilities like Blindness Potions and Speed Brews. They also gain access to decoy whistles, which are essentially fake clues that distract seekers from where actual clue points might be located.

Seekers now have their own power-up, a Throwable Knife, as well as a special Tracker Scanner, which can only be used once.

Active Abilities – Seeker Ability: Tracker Scanner (Single Item) How it Works:

Right-clicking this single item within our hotbar will scan us for the closest hider and show us all relevant details about them in a combined info readout on our screen.

Action Bar / Chat Readout: [TRACKER] Target: PIG | Distance: 12 Blocks

The Distance Number: Updates dynamically over five seconds of movement, giving insight on if you're getting warmer or colder. Cooldown/Reset: No time-based cooldown; only when used, the tracker scanner will lock out until a successful kill of a Hider is done. This instantly resets it to be ready for the next round of hunting.

Hider Ability—Decoy Whistle: Will trigger a fake whistle sound from one random AI mob located at a location fifteen blocks away to fool seekers into going the wrong way.

Cooldown: 30 seconds

Pickable Map Drops / Spawned Power-ups: Items that spawn periodically around the map for players to contest.

Throwables: Throwable Knife (🗡️)—Single-use Ranged Projectile. When thrown directly at a fleeing Hider, they will experience high damage, taking 2 hearts from the Hider (if the seaker misses, he will get damaged of 2 hearts as well), which can be used to get close enough to take them out.

🧪 Potion Crates:

Hunter’s Draft grants you Speed I for 8s when trying to catch up with someone (chases).

Hider Pickups: 🧪 Potion Crates:

Blinding Smoke Bottle (Splash Potion): Throw a splash bottle at a chasing Seeker. If hit, the Seeker will get Blindness I for 3 seconds while giving you time to break line-of-sight and re-disguise.

Speed Brew: Gain Speed II for 6 seconds that can let you outrun Seekers.

Invisibility Splash: Make your mob disguise invisible for 4 seconds as you traverse open spaces undetectable.

Why this gameplay loop works. Ranged Seeker combat—giving Seekers a skill shot to take down fast Hiders trying to sprint away with the Throwable Knife makes sense. Hider defensive tools—letting Hiders throw blindness potions on Seeking players and escaping into a mob of people also makes total sense. And earned seeker scans—requiring you to actually commit to a kill before getting full use of your wallhack style Tracker Scanner means that all of these scans are earned instead of abused.

Server is lagging.
250+ ping,
It's so annoying for the server to suddenly start lagging after playing a few games when you are transferring to a new game or lobby, hate having to relog repeatedly for it. I'm on ethernet btw.
