Minecraft Minimize Crash

So this isn't a glitch directly linked to Cubecraft, but minecraft in general. This is why I haven't put this on the bug reports thread. But whenever I minimize the mc window it crashes! Anyone know a fix?

Try 1.8.9. 1.8 was known for a lot of bugs.
