Minecraft error

I got a new laptop for my birthday and its an asus with windows 10 installed. Lately when I have played on singleplayer (and occasionally multiplayer) my minecraft browser shuts down and displays this message:

I don't know what any of this means and I can't play singleplayer as a result of this.

Try to reinstall java. Make sure you get the 64 bit version if you have a 64 bit OS (if you don't know if you have a 32 or 64 bit OS, get java 64 bit anyway).

If that doesn't work, I don't know...
