In map beach. there are a lot of vines. You can make shears and get the vines, then do what ever you want with it. I find it OP, but useful and fun at the same time, because you can come up with different strategies with/against it.

My strategy; "Catch a vine" - Its where you jump to another island, and when if you miss the island by 1 block, you place a vine on the block, so you can catch it. But you have to shift right after you do that, bc you can fall. :P

Not sure if vines were suppose to be used this way, or obtainable, but you can decide if you want to get rid of it or keep it for the fun of it :P

When @SunshineChick & I first made the map, the vines were intended for decoration [way too many vines, now that we see it.] but now that I've read this thread, I see that they can be used as an advantage too. Not too OP, cause players can easily bump you off the islands when you're trying to obtain the vines.

But the way you use the vines for is a pretty cool idea. I dig it :)

Also, on the topic of the Beach map.. @rubik_cube_man .. when you get the time, Sunshine & I were wondering.. would you be able to edit the map to get the islands closer? It's really inconvenient how distant they are & the map is hard to play & a lot of players have agreed with me.

Thanks :)

Really good idea to use the vines. you sneak up on someone. like build a bridge then jump then place a vine below the island the keep placing and go up.While he is building just knock him off.
