Java Make a "Favourite maps" option?

Hello everyone!

I've been thinking about an option in which you can select your favourite maps to play with you. This means, imagine that you like the map like "Arcade". It would be nice to choose it to play instead of searching it (if is available) or choose it aleatory.

Yeah, if you're gonna ask about it, yes, this is an option of hypixel, but before doing a comment like "Uhm, I don't like hypixel and this is would be a copy blablabla".

And yes, it's possible that this would be already proposed, but anyways, I want to know your opinions about it besides that suggesting.

I agree! It would make map choosing faster and easier! I don’t have the felling that this has a real downside to it.
I do have a question about how you would like to see this implemented.. Would this be ranked only? If not, will there be a minimum of favorites maps because if not it could be used to choose your map as a not rank.

I'm glad that you make me that questions.
Well, this would be a ranked feature, that's mean, you would need at least a Iron rank (As it's now to choose map).

Clicking with left click you would be choosing a favourite map, and it would be added to a list.
You could add maps depending of the map, example:

Iron rank: maximum of 2 favourite maps
Lapiz rank: maximum of 4 favourite maps
Gold rank: maximum of 6 favourite maps
Diamond rank: maximum of 7 favourite maps
Emerald rank: maximum of 9 favourite maps
Obsidian rank: maximum of 12 favourite maps

I would love to see this coming in CubeCraft! I really don't like some maps and I always get send to them.. Good suggestion!

I think this could work really well, so your favorite maps get pushed to the front page when you go to select a specific map. Seems like a nice quality of life suggestion to possibly add in the future, however it might be a little more difficult than we realize because they'd need to add it to all game armour stands.

I would personally tweak your rank maximum amount of favorites to be as follows:
Iron: 4
Lapiz: 6
Gold: 8
Diamond: 10
Emerald: 12
Obsidian: 14

I do agree with this idea. Am I correct if you mean to select the maps that is your favorite. Then you can chose which one you want.
